"Publisher THQ has announced Baja, an off-road racing title currently in development by 2XL Games, founded in 2005 by former heads of Rainbow Studios (THQ's MX vs. ATV franchise). The title will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August 2008.

Baja features more than 40 vehicles in eight classes, including Trophy Trucks, 4x4s and buggies. Players can also upgrade and assemble their own vehicles with an array of authentic parts that affect each vehicle's performance, and vehicles can be damaged and repaired

Players can compete head-to-head in Open Class races, off-road races and endurance challenges. Baja will also support four-player split-screen multiplayer, 12-player online and LAN as well as multiple-screen panoramic view."

Those graphics don't impress me at all. They look a lot worse than the original Motorstorm. Other than that the game sounds pretty good. 4 player split screen and 12 player online sounds cool.

You think so?...in my opinion excite truck turds on motostorm. Its twice as fun...which is what matters.

 We are not talking about gameplay, since we do not know anything about this, we are looking at graphics

This is true...partially...

There is a general asumption that because somehow motostorm kills this in graphics, it will be a better game. I commented that a game with much inferior graphics such as excite truck is just as fun if not more so than the 1080p monster called motorstorm.

I just wanted people not to lose sight of that.

Besides saying that motorstorm "turds" all over this game is a huge overstatement. It looks a little better and this is not even finished so I don't think we can jump to conclusions.
