Forums - Nintendo - Good games for Wii that you would suggest

Well my plan to get a Wii suceeded magnificently on the first day, surprised it was so easy to get one (relative to my expectations of having to pledge my soul to miyamoto and giving my first born to Reggie)

So I was wonderring what games you all would suggest as must haves for the Wii, I already bought Brawl and SMG and NMH are on my list of eventuals.  I was wonderring if you could suggest any others.  Thank you for your time.

I would very much like to recommend Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn to you.

If you already have SSBB, you will definitely recognize Ike in the following videos.

Intro Movie:

Trailer:

Zack & Wiki

and of course

The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess

Does anyone suggest Battalion Wars 2 btw? I found it for 40 € at a store near here.

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

well, for games out this year you can check this thread http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?start=100&id=14526

Also, here are some I enjoyed

Fire Emblem:Radiant Dawn - excellent strategy RPG, probably the hardest games on the Wii

Metroid Prime:Corruption - obviously an excellent adventure/shooter. Tough game if you play it no veteran, and you don't actually have to scan everything if you don't want to.

There are tons more, but those 2 are my favorites out of the ones I own/rented from before 08.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

^^ Not my cup of tea, but according to our game database at least 47 members of this site own BW2. Let's see what they say about the game.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
RE4Wii
Zack & Wiki

Take a look in this thread: http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=16273

Well adventure games aren't usually my deal but I may have to rent Zack and Wiki anyway just to make sure, but Fire Emblem sounds right up my alley, thank you all for the suggestions.

edit: of course there's a stickied recommended list....dur....that's what I get for not looking around the forum before hand.  My apologies.

BWii is mediocre.  Unless you already have Brawl, FE, Zelda, MP3, SMG...etc, don't bother with it.

Depends on what you like, I'm just going to list a few games that are on my do not sell back list.

Excite Truck: Yes, Excite Truck. It's a fairly fun game that just lacks in content. You will play a lot of it for the first few days, put it down for a month or so, and then continue to pick it up again and again because it is really a fun game despite its lack of content. It's good for a short session of gaming and it something that's worth keeping around.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 1/2: Either of these are great, though it's up to you which one you want to get. Some people like the first one better, others like the second one. If you regularly play with friends, this is a fun game for non-gamers and gamers alike as the humor is brilliant.

Super Paper Mario: The difficulty isn't there but the writing is absolutely brilliant.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition: Who would have thought you could make one of the greatest games ever even better? RE4 is an already amazing game that gets even better because of the controls.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: I'm not a huge FPS fan and I didn't like MP1 or MP2 but I loved MP3. They nailed the controls (though play the advanced controls, the default ones are rubbish) and it's just a *really* good game except for a single pointless fetch quest. After playing this you'll wonder why they even bother making FPS games that still use analog controls.

Zack & Wiki: I can't think of a good reason why you hadn't already picked up this game other than you couldn't find it. Seriously, it's a must have.

Warioware: Smooth Moves: By yourself this game is crap but with the 12 player multiplayer it's one of the most fun times you'll ever have.
