Classic JRPG combat meets action packed dungeons and stylish storytelling. Use skills and strategy to survive a lush, brutal landscape.

 

 

 

 

  • Battle Chasers: Nightwar is an RPG inspired by the classic console greats, featuring deep dungeon diving, turn-based combat presented in a classic JRPG format, and tons ofsecrets, story and randomly-generated replay goodness.

  • Nightwar is currently planned for release on PC and Mac, both on Steam and DRM-free on GoG. (Look for other platforms like the console tier - Xbox One and PS4 - to show up in our stretch goals!)

  • The game is being created by ex-Vigil Games veterans, including two of Vigil's co-founders, Joe Madureira and Ryan Stefanelli.

  • Like the greats that came before, the soundtrack will be something special.

Officially Announcing PS4 and Xbox One Support!

By incredibly popular demand, we are taking Xbox One and PS4 out of stretch goals and making them a core part of the campaign.

Anyone who has pledged will be given a choice of available platforms via a survey as we get closer to launch, so if you've already supported us, you're all set! Otherwise, help spread the word so everyone on the console fence knows they'll be able to sit on their couch and wander the Battle Chasers: Nightwar world!

There are others we'd like to support as well, but those need to stay in the stretch goal section. Let's get this thing funded and see how many platforms we can reach!

This looks sick... and Im really glad they choose to also do a DRM free version for GoG (which i ll be picking up).

Hurray for good old school tactical turn based rpgs.

Glad developers are still putting these out.

i loved it too.. till there were huge delays between the comics.. 6 months between them! ... and the cliffhanger ending it had with issue 9 and issue 10 never releasing.. i hate it.. i wanna punch Joe Madureira in the face
