You're also assuming that he meant it would sell 77K or more. Not that he was just pointing out that 20-30K seems a tad low for a pretty well-respected franchise in Japan.

except that this time it's clear that the past release will greatly outsell the new istallment.I'm not assuming he is predicting 77k+, but throwing that number randomly suggests he expects a huge increase that probably won't happen.

Indicating the previous performance, is not 'random', it's using past performance and comparing it to what some are currently predicting and reasonably suggesting it'll probably sell a bit more than 20-30K (20K would be 2K more than it sold the week prior...which I don't think is a reasonable bump, for an MGS game).

We always knew it's going to boost ps4 very well MGS4 boost ps3 by nearly 70k

Great. I'm really liking to see Wii U's & PS4's rising in Japan. Consoles are performing much better this year and I hope this is a trend for the future! PS4 will probably do 40~50k this week!

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
