And DQ7 didn't have a full 7 days either. The first week that is tracked is considered a game's FW. What it does in literal calendar days has no influence on this discussion. For example, when discussing it's YTD sales, we don't count back 365 days, but to the beginning of the year. The first week is counting from the beginning of the sales week to the end of that sales week.

Aye. How many days was DQ7 out then?

Edit: NVM it was out for 2 days. Thats a very front loaded game.

The same, 4 days. 95% of games in Japan release on Thursday (MC and Fam track from Mon to Sun).

The other 5% releases on Saturday or holiday/special days.
