I highly doubt that.Gears remaster did not push sales up and PS4 still had its May momentum plus Until Dawn.

You don't need to look any further than the link I provided. Amazon has been correct 100% of the time unless the bundle in question is a preorder bundle, then of course you check out what was second or third.

Well Amazon had a very low stock last month.

And the PS4 was still the leading platform on the monthlies.

Seeing as it has been 100% right so far, maybe it would be best to think that it will be right again until it's proven otherwise.

Hell, it's the accuracy of Amazon that has made these threads so popular that in certain months some users become more vocal than they have been for other parts of the year

Metal Gear Solid (PS4) jumps to #40 for the whole year.

That, or people just can't wai for abundle to grab a PS4.  Don't worry, Unchated will rise in the rankings... in October.   But in the here and now, people want a PS4 today.

If Amazon is anything to go by then the Destiny bundle is going to dominate the month. High on the chats in August and high on the charts now in the final week leading up to its release. It is interesting to contemplate the possibility that at least for the first couple of weeks of September PS4 sales could be relatively low and Xb one might win a couple of weeks, but will end up behind PS4 for the month because of the Destiny bundle.

I'm mostly glad to see Until Dawn holding up well and at more or less full price still. It's an interesting case study in what makes a new IP game with a good, but not great, metascore succeed.
