Do you have a link where that is confirmed? I'm not accusing you of lying but, I've searched the entire internet and found nothing about it.

i've watched the last IGN lets play with Jose and 'too much water' girl, check that one out. it has 1-1 to 1-4 where Jose created different levels and able to link it and play continuously.

Ok, thanks.

Is it this video?

Because, if so, the levels don't link together. What he did was make 1-1, 1-2 etc, but they don't combine. Once he beat 1-1, he was back in his level folder where he could start 1-2, but the score was erased and lives reset. Also, you don't just land on a poll, walk into a castle and then, poof, 1-2 starts. That's what I want.

But even the real Mario games don't go seamlessly from one level to the next.

nope. that was brian and jose.  the jose and callie one was the aug 31st one I think, i've watched it live hence don't know if they have uploaded the full video on their youtube channel.  Jose has selected that set of levels and continued playing it (1-1 to 1-4).

i don't know if the scores and lives are reset before going into 1-2. would really find out once i've got it on the 11th.

I definitely spoke too soon when I said 90+ would happen earlier in the thread. To be fair though, it would've without the two 70-ish scores.

An 88 is fantastic, especially for a full priced 2D non-indie platformer. Looked on Metacritic, and other games with this score include Bioshock 2, Shenmue II, Dead Space, Ratchet & Clank, Star Fox 64 and Mario Kart 8. That's some fantastic company right there. Can't wait to get my hands on this! (not to say I needed reviewer validation to confirm my purchase, but it's nice to see regardless)

Well, the only reason why im not getting the game is because of multiplayer. Everything looks sooooooo good, but playing by myself isnt that fun (played NSMB on Wii and Wii U) If they incoorporate at least a 2 player mode (or an online multiplayer would be AWESOME) then its an instant buy.

Great scores overall.

The multiplayer experience exists on this game, but on a different way, since the game is about design levels, one player can have the gamepad and the other player can have any other kind of controller, and while one is designing the course in the gamepad the other one can test it inmediatly, you can also play the mario challenge with 2 controllers, so you can play one life each other without switching controllers. It´s something.

Oh! I did not know that! Yeah, its not what i want but IT IS somthing.

I'll see if i can find videos of 2 people "Playing"
