Not really, she's a State representative, refusing to adhere to a Supreme Court ruling AND an appeal denial. She's not doing her job. She can either resign, or stay in prison.

Lawlight defending a blatant homophobe? I'm shocked.
I hate how religious people are. They want the right to practice their religion, but want to deny the rights of others who live a different lifestyle or have a different belief.I do not agree with Christianity at all,but I don't care who choose too.Her beliefs have nothing to do with her job and she should have quit if she does not want to sign for gay marriage.

No, it's not.
If you're a Muslim who applied for a job as a bartender, but refuse to serve alcohol so you're fired is that persecution?
If you're an Amish person and you're hired as an electrician, and then claim you can't deal with electricity and you get fired, is that discrimination?
If you're a Jehovah's witness who applies for a job as a party planner, but you are fired because you don't believe in celebrating birthdays, is that unfair?
If you're a Jew who works at a pizzeria and the pizzeria starts serving pepperoni pizza that you refuse to serve, is it persecution to fire you?
Of course not. No employer, the government or any other employer, is forced to hire someone who cannot perforrm the job they applied for. You have to make any reasonable acommadations for an employee with any religious convictions or phyical limitations that prevent them from doing their job. That doesn't mean we have to hire handicapped quarterbacks, jewish pork store employees, or christian clerks who refuse to issue marriage licenses to those who are legally entitled.
Seriously, religious people get incredibly confused about persecution. If you are forcing someone to abide by your beliefs, you are persecuting, not being persecuted.

She is a religious idiot who is using her personal belief to discriminate against someone else. Her religion is irrelevant for her job and her job is to sign the marraige license, period. Plenty of people don't like gays, but do they refuse to service gay people? No and they should not be able to. If the situation was reversed wouls you still agree? For instance if someone was muslim and did not want to serve women, because most muslims do not believe in communicating with women -as was the case for a college student who refused to partner with female stidents- or if a person has racist beliefs. I don't like Christians, but should I have the right to refuse them servie when I am at my job?
May she prevail! God defines marriage. Men have perverted it. You can love a man with no sex or marriage. It's not love, but sick lust. Next, we will marry humans and animals!

God doesn't rule over American Law.
Also, look up the laws regarding informed consent, it's why everytime people like yourself start talking about animals or children, you're laughed at. Because it's based on a position of ignorance and fear mongering. Not actual understanding of law.
For anyone who wants to know more about Davis... the defender of traditional marriage:
She divorced three times: also against the Bible.
She gve birth two twins 5 months after she divorced (aka adultery) and but married another man who adopted her kids... before she left him to marriy a third man... the one who actually got her pregnant... who she of course later divorced and later remarried a fourth husband.
No one ever denied her a marriage license based on her broken vows to God...and no one should have the right to stop her. The hypocrisy is real. Now about her being arrested... well I would have rathered that she be fired... but if she cannot be fired, and she still wants to deny other their rights inspite of a court order and a position which commands her to follow the law... oh well.
