So AGAIN I ask, you admit you were wrong when you said Xbox One always has better FPS? Cause that seems to be the exception as opposed to the rule. As the majority of games looks better on PS4 and run better on PS4.

i wouldn't bother with him too much. It's like arguing with a rock. All you can really do with it is either go around or ignore it.

I just wanted to see how far he would go before he would conceed. But I guess it's likely never going to happen.

Wow this thread turned into a console war. Anyway its nice to see that both games will look and perform well.

"
In gameplay, both PS4 and Xbox One run at a near-flawless 60fps, with v-sync engaged at all times to avoid tearing."
"
handles more intensive scenes at a perfect 60fps - though PS4 and Xbox One are equally prone to this light hiccupping."

You've made many claims and you've backed up one with a dud link. All of the links I posted shows a clear difference.

So again I ask, you admit you were wrong when you said always?

What do you mean? I always want better fps over resolution. If sony ps4 is so much powerful, why not sacrafice res to get better fps?

but why?  MGS stay at 60fps most of the time only dropping to 59fps (xb1 also does this) in few occassions.  It only drop to 30fps on cutscenes.  Who plays cutscenes?  Same with COD AW, in online mode of 5minutes of video, it dropped to 55fps for a second and went back up to 60fps, why sacrificed the resolution?.  Can you really feel the drop from 60fps to 55fps?once in a while.  What about project cars and batman AK that looks and play better than the xb1 version.  xb1 always performing better is a myth spread out by crapgamer and now all xb1 owners believe this which isn't true.

As an owner of both xbone and ps4 I can clearly see with the overall impression of both consoles that xbone is weaker and this is hardly surprising considering the spec difference with regard gpu and memory bandwidth but both are great consoles with a lot of decent games to enjoy. Both are very capable consoles though and while not in the same class as a top end pc they are clearly miles ahead of last gen and wii u. Yes aliasing can be a lot more obvious on xbone and sometimes frame rate drops are a bit worse overall on xbone but by no means a deal breaker.

Wow some people are fucking pathetic. You guys are arguing over pixels, c'mon.....

it's not arguing over pixels, it's arguing over a common lie.  if you spread a lie, be prepared for people calling you out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKuH40zGTwo  dying light comparison.  ps4 stayed at 30fps all the time while the xb1 version drop to 25 fps once in a while and that game runs at 900p, what should we do? drop it to 720p so the game can run at a perfect 30fps? like you said, you rather have fps over resolution.  Just because it drops rarely to their intended resolution, it doesn't mean it should be downgraded.

OMG...AND? Resolution comparisons are getting so old! Resolution advantage or not, the PS4 version will always look noticeably better. DEAL WITH IT.

It will always perform noticable worse deal with it.

FPS >  RESOLUTION.

I really don't understand why people ever state things like this as a definitive. Variance alone usually makes them wrong.

Regardless, the PS4 and X1 seem to beat each other in frame-rate comparisons at a pretty even rate. Sometimes for legitimate hardware reasons, other times simply due to optimization disparity (and of course sometimes both).

Yet the ps4 version is missing details and less fps during cutsecenese. Very annoying. Get mad all you want, but fps is more improtant than rez. That is why there is people who want ps4 version of witcher 3 to be 900p because some parts are unplayable and so is resident evil revlation. So while sony forces 1080p your fps suffers.

No part of Witcher 3 is unplayable or Id not have beaten the game 3 times already on my PS4. And I seriously never knew Revelations even had a FPS problem, I never noticed anything while playing the game.
