Runbow is a multiplayer-focused platformer in which players aim to be the first to reach a trophy at the end of each level. Players can perform a double jump as well as perform attacks to defeat enemies or gain extra reach whilst jumping. The background of each level constantly shifts between a cycle of colors, causing obstacles of the same color as the background, such as blockades and spikes, to disappear. The game is capable of supporting up to nine players with all kind of controllers, Runbow includes also online multiplayer.
The game has several modes such: Adventure, Races, Arena Battles, King of the hill and the Bowhemoth mode.
From Destructoid: " There's a staggering amount of modes available for players of all skill levels, and a few of the meatier ones are satisfying even if you're going at it solo. One such game type is "Adventure," which tasks you with defeating an evil monochrome boss who feels left out, amidst all the other colorful world inhabitants. You'll progress through over 100 levels to complete the story, taking on a number of different objectives within the campaign itself. The bright, vivid color scheme makes things more interesting, as well as appropriate sound effects, I don't normally talk about game soundtracks as they generally don't stick with me for very long, but Runbow's is one of the best I've heard all year, give it a listen"
The game has plenty of characters from other popular indie games such as Shovel Knight, Guacamelee, Steamworld Dig, Bit.trip, Stealth Inc, Mutant Mudds, Hyper Light Drifter, Azure Striker Gunvolt, Teslagrad, Chariot, etc etc

Metacritic: 89
Nintendo World Report: Minor hiccups aside, Runbow is a blast whether you crave a party game or a platformer. 9/10
Destructoid: For the price, I'd still recommend Runbow for solo players, as long as you really love platforming. Even if you only enjoy the genre just a little though, it's still a fantastic party game. 9/10
Nintendo Life: It's an excellent party game with a solid single player campaign and more unlockables than the colours of the rainbow; you won't regret paying the admission for this gem on the Wii U. 9/10
Arcade Sushi: The bite-sized stages really help keep the game moving, even when I'm performing poorly, and the aesthetic is incredibly easy on the eyes. There's some zany good times to be had with the multiplayer as well, and I'm sure Runbow will soon find its way into the rotation as a go-to party game in my household. 8.5/10
Shacknews: This platformer is chaotic fun and one of the best (and simplest) multiplayer experiences on Wii U. 9/10
The game is gonna be released tomorrow on NA, Europe has to wait a few weeks more.
