Forums - Nintendo - Splatoon's final boss is simply wonderful.

Yesterday I finally completed Splatoon's single player mode and I wasn't expecting a final boss that epic! First of all, I wasn't expecting that final boss mostly because the other bosses weren't anything to write at home about and the last world wasn't anything out of the ordinary either. Now granted, that last world was slightly more challenging than the other worlds but I expected much more due to the things I heard about it.

I was a bit disappointed and I was expecting to be disappointed with the final boss as well, but that simply didn't happen. The boss started out in typical fashion, but it kept getting better and better! The final boss pretty much combines  elements from the single player mode such as the Sponge Blocks and Propellers with many intense moments and puts everything into one hell of a package!

The boss was also MUCH longer than I expected! There was a point when I was like " This has to be the final checkpoint, right? Wait, it's not? What the hell?!". Not only that, but the boss was also pretty challenging! Going from the other average bosses to the final boss is lke going from a cookie to a Triple Cheesebruger! As a result of that, I got caught off guard and died a few times! I think I spent around 40 minutes on the boss, but it was all worth it.

I should also mention that the music simply made everything so much better. It was simply a great final boss. Well done, Nintendo.

Nothing like memorable final bosses, whether for the character or for the battle itself, to end a game in a high note.

The final boss alone makes the campaign worth playing, even if you don't like single-player content.

I don't own Splatoon but I've seen the final battle, it makes me wonder what could they do in the next entry in the Splatoon series

Indeed, I very much enjoyed the final boss, but those creepy sounds at the end... :s

Not as creepy as Giygas sounds, though!

Visually awesome, suitably epic, and hilarious on top of it all. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

It was very good. I always preferred online battles, but this boss battle was really fun to play against
