How does such a niche game get 86 reviews on metacritic? That's more than Super Mario 3D World, Majora's Mask 3D and Mario Kart 8 lol.
Something's wrong with today's gaming journalism. Or metacritic's criteria.

Maybe it's not as niche as you think?
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Or Sony sent more review copies.

It's not going to sell 5 million copies any time soon.

Usually the most popular console gets the most reviews on Meta. If you look at last gen, most multiplatform games for example, would always have 2-3 times the amount of reviews on the 360 than Ps3.
So far this gen it's reversed for the Ps4. Not hard to imagine that an exclusive game like Until Dawn would garner a lot of reviews.

Reviewers usually review the best version with multi-plats. Has no connection with an exclusive like Until Dawn though.

Actually they review whichever version the publisher decides to send them. Though I would think publishers do send the best version.

Best version? That sounds made up. All reviews I've read from a multiplat game contain all versions. Especially when it's a Ps3/360 or Ps4/Xbone release.
The connection is the console that is most popular gets the most reviews. As I stated before.

Maybe more "PlayStation only" sites. I'm guessing. I could be wrong.

Maybe because of the apparent fact that people got more aware of the game after many positive reviews came out and great word of mouth or Sony merely promoted it a lot.
Anyway, what is so wrong with this game getting a lot of reviews? Or more importantly, why are you always complaining about things not nintendo related. lol.
