Forums - Sony - PS4 laggy menu

At any given moment, I have a lot of devices connected to the web (phone, Dish Network, laptop, tablets, consoles, etc). Maybe that's the cause of my problems. I know one day my daughter was playing Splatoon. I fired up remote play on my ps4. Her game disconnected AND my Vita connection was horrible!!

I usually tend to have flawless online experiences because i get my internet from the phone company. Still, I can see that this could be the issue. It doesn't happen to me every single time and when it does, it's just a minor inconvenience.

Around the Network

Everything is instantaneous and smooth for me.

I know you're kidding but jeez, man. Can't you go five seconds without attacking Xbox?  Some of us had a legit problem and wanted answers and all you can do is throw flames and jabs. It's not always a competition.

If that's your idea of fun you should probably get out more.

OT: I couldn't say, my menu has always worked smoothly. Hope you figure it out OP :(

I have no issue and zero lag on my PS4.

Watch me stream games and hunt trophies on my Twitch channel!

Mine has a little stutter too, but everything else is fine.

Yeah rebuild database is an option, it rearranges the content into a more efficient order I think.

PS, PS2, Gameboy Advance, PS3, PSP, PS4, Xbox One

sometimes it freezes, but that's about it.

I misread the thread title as "PS4 saggy menu". I should watch less amateur porn.

Do you have DSL or Cable?  I went from DSL (crappy 18 mbps) to Cable (up to 100 mbps) and my connection has never been better.  Used to take my 3DS forever to enter the eshop and now it takes less than 20-30 seconds.  I'm glad I ditched AT&T and I'm only paying about 10 dollars more.  AT&T tried to stop me from disconnecting my services after a year by offering me 45 mbps for ~$43 dollars but I just had enough.  Funny that I went from Time Warner to AT&T when I moved into my house from an apt.  I believe Time Warner kind of sucks at apartments because of all the units in the apartment complex (my connection speed would bounce around like crazy even through ethernet connection).  I believe with a house you get less interference than a apt. when it comes to a cable connection.

I have DSL. Cable isn't really an option unless I pay a ton of money. Internet is actually the only reason I still have a home phone.
