Forums - Sony - Just bought a PS4! Need some advice...

So, I just received a PS4 as a gift from my BF, but I have been having my eye on one for awhile. Being an Xbox guy, I haven't really focused too hard on the Sony side of things. I got the Batman Arkham Knight bundle, in addition to that I got Far Cry 4 for free (Best Buy has a deal with every new PS4 you get Destiny or Far Cry 4 free)... So here's a few questions for you guys and gals!

What games are a must buy as far as exclusives? Both titles that came with my console are multiplats, I'd like something that shows off the consoles power. For instance, I bought my Xbox One on day one, and purchased Ryse: Son of Rome because it was essentially a tech demo (albeit a very good game). So I'd like something that is graphically impressive, but also a great game.

PS Plus, should I get it? I live in a dorm during the fall, so I do not have very strong internet, and sometimes have to use the Xfinity Public Hotspot for games. Is it worth it for me to get PS Plus? I didn't have it for PS3 because Sony was having a lot of server issues at the time, however, the instant game collection for PS4 makes me want to take the plunge. I do have Xbox Live Gold, but only use it to play Mortal Kombat X and Neverwinter online, I'm not a huge online gamer (though I'd like to become one). And my console didn't come with a free Plus trial.

What are your favorite PS4 features?  I'm a gamer that loves his consoles feature heavy, which is partly why I bought Xbox One first. What features should I be excited about on PS4?

I could research this stuff, but its more interesting and reliable to get real points of view, so thanks in advance!

Welcome to the club. I was a big Xbox fan until this generation as well. The original was my Sega machine, the 360 was wonderful, but now is the time for the PS4.

If you like fighting games:
Guilty Gear Xrd is a must.
The Order: 1866 is the PS4 tech demo
Drive Club is up there with Forza Horizon 2 for my favorite racer (arcade racer)
Bloodborne is a must
Last of Us can be had digitally for cheap. ($12.74)

If you like quality indie games. PS plus pays for itself.

Bloodborne is the only true native PS4 title I believe is must have. There are other solid ones such as The Last of Us Remastered.

Seems like Bloodborne is the clear winner amongst all PS4 owners, I was thinking about it but I'm worried it'll be repetitive (from the guy that loves Ryse lol).

Infamous seems like a great title too, I had the first one for PS3 but never got to finish it. Surprised nobody said Killzone, I thought that was a graphical powerhouse.

I could see that. Ryse was easy mode, Bloodborne is more challenging. Do you like challenging games?

PS4 isn't an FPS box, so a mediocre FPS isn't going to get as much recognition.

Killzone is a good game. I think people expected too much from it. You know....wanting it to be more than what it was. Oh yeah graphically, it's a beauty.
