Today is the first day of the Pokémon World Championships 2015 placed in Boston USA.

It isn't a secret that Junichi Masuda, composer and director for most of the Pokémon games enjoys partecipating at the Pokémon World Champioships as a special guest and since the Sixth Generation has started (the two past years) he's usual to make an anouncement regarding the upcoming Pokémon title for the main series. Unfortunately this year no new Pokémon Games for the main series were announced...

But this doesn't mean we wont get an announcement at the event, conversely two other Pokémon major representatives, Shigeru Ohmori and Tsunekazu Ishihara (in the picture up here peceded by Masuda) are confirmed to partecipate at the event, making it even more likely that there will be an announcement at this year's event. What do you think it they might announce ?

We will most likely see the next main series Pokemon game at the closing ceremonies.

Well why else would Shigeru Ohmori be there? He never makes an appearance unless they are going to announce something big and he wasn't the one who announced Pokken Tournament.

And isn't the dude in the middle Tajiri? I always get conflicting feedback on what Satoshi Tajiri looks like. Theres the picture of that dude and then a young guy. Different websites show them

The tournament ends tomorrow August 23rd, it's really likely that Ohmori and Masuda will make an announcement aswell, and I've just realized that next year is the 20th anniversary of Pokémon !! Europe has already 3 games coming (one to be confirmed beeing Z, but yeah, they never did a 2 year skip)so it seems GameFreak wants to celebrate the anniversary properly!

Oh, ok so it is that guy! Thank you, it's been bothering me for years that theres Tajiri and the other guy who appear for him on image searches. 

Yeah I'm hoping for the announcement tomorrow :3 I'm super excited. I just hope it isn't Z... The 20th anniversary should be celebrated with something new or something nostalgic, not a sequel to the most recent entries v.v
