Is a good game, but nothing of special imo.

But the characters are awesome. Loved Dark Pit and Palutena. :D

One of the best games on the 3DS.

I really enjoyed the game, but I agree with what others said that it was a bit annoying with the dialogue, because I often missed what was being said when I was playing and it was just distracting, but apart from that, it was a great game.

Easily my favorite game of this generation (including Wii U, PS4, and XBone). Just totally original in every aspect from the gameplay to the way difficulty is adjusted, the way the story is presented, and so on.

Only problem is that after over a hundred hours of play I *still* haven't gotten the last power I need to complete all the checklists. So annoying. Grrrr...

The controls are weird when you are on the ground but once you get used to it the game is awesome. Great graphics, gameplay and characters, I wish this game was made for WiiU.

It was my first game for the 3DS because I bought one for Fire Emblem Awakening and it wasn't out yet so I got Kid Icarus. I love it. Not too much, but it's something I don't regret purchasing.

It's one of my favourite games ever made!

Great soundtrack, it's pretty funny, great game play, a ton of content and frantic fun multiplayer too. I love everything about it! Put in around 120+ hours so far.

I've never understood the issues people had with the control's, I'm left handed and got used to them after around 2-3 levels, can't imagine the game working other way.
Apart from that I loved the game, the music, story, characters, dialogue, voice acting, game play, level design, bosses and graphics are all top notch.
I had a lot of fun with the multiplayer as well. There is no shortage of things to do in the game.
Honestly it puts most games on the ps4, Wiiu and xb1 to shame.

Haven't gotten around to beating it, but the dialogue in that game is amazing. xD

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

It's my favourite 3ds game, my favourite Sakurai game, my favourite Nintendo game since Windwaker and favourite game in many many years.

An exceptional single player game which out starfoxes starfox when in the flying sections. Has fantastic level design which keeps things fresh with wonderful secrets to discover. It has great voice act and personality. Then hit you with a fantastic online multiplayer which encourages you to replay the single player over and over at harder difficulties and explore more in order to obtain new and better items and moves to tweak your character.

I never really had an issue with the controls so it's disappointing to see so many people did and didn't get into the game as a result. As far as I'm concerned, enough praise can not be put onto this game. This alone is a good enough reason to buy a 3ds. One of the greatest games of all time.
