Forums - Microsoft - Windows 10 Forced Updates Causing Endless Crash Loops

I have a pretty unique horror story with installing Windows 10.

When I installed Windows 10 (I moved over all of my programs and documents), Windows Explorer seemed to be completely dysfunctional (or something, I'm really not sure), and Windows 10 could only work on safe mode. When I tried to go to the option to revert back to Windows 7, the system would always crash whenever it tried to enter Recovery Environment. Looking online, this particular issue was experienced before, but Microsoft seems intent on not fixing it. So, I was completely incapable of going back to Windows 7 outside of factory resetting it.

I then decided to reinstall Windows 10 without carrying anything over (since I already had to delete all my stuff). It works now, but I'm still not particularly happy with it. It seems to consistently run my CPU hotter than Windows 7 did, and it's certainly more buggy. It seems to take multiple tries to get Nvidia Geforce Experience to actually load without crashing, which was certainly annoying. Though, I'm not particularly sure who's at fault for that.
