i bought a new LG smart tv recently as my old tv broke. i have switch to game mode, and although the video input has no input lag now, the audio input is still unable to reduce the lag. what can i do ? has anyone encountered something like this?

thanks for help  in advance :)

Hah, bet you thought no one would respond to this! Well unfortunately that might be because no one's ever heard of this scenario, atleast I haven't. Regardless of input lag, the video and audio have always been in synch from my limited experience. Also this should be put in gaming discussion.

Might just be the TV.

If yout TV has PC mode, try that.

The PS5 Exists.

Maybe check online if there is a patch for that problem.

Also try different settings if possible. Is it using linear pcm (uncompressed) over hdmi or using compression?
Is there an audio setup where you can set the delays?

Maybe there's something helpful in this:

Firstly, to fix video input lag, just switch the video settings into "game"mode, which reduce the sharpness, inexchange of reducing input lag

secondly, go to audio settings, and switch to game mode as well

if the audio lag still exist (like mine), look for the setting for "audio sync" (or something like that)

try set it to "-5" and see how it goes :) if it isnt, just try different value

Just fiddle with the TV settings. That's good to know if someone else finds this thread.
