Well, the problem I have with this is that I can't trust the intent behind what Kotaku writes, they could very well be telling the truth, but they ran out of credit a long time ago in the game called consumer trust. So, my suggestion for XB1 fans who are concerned with this? Try to find another site and read what they have to say, in fact, source multiple sites (what're the odds that you and another writer have exactly the same taste in games) and see what they have to say.
You really shouldn't be looking at just one place anyway, and you REALLY shouldn't be making that one place Kotaku (or Polygon).
Maybe the reason Quantum Break has been delayed so much is ... that it's actually kind of bad.
As for Halo 5, we know based on Halo 4 and the Halo MCC fiasco that 343i just isn't the same dev Bungie was making the original Halo games. That along with taking away local multiplayer in Halo 5 and you have the makings of Halo game that doesn't quite measure up to the series' former glory.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

One could see that change in opinion as a person that was really interested in the game just being genuinely disappointed by what he was shown behind closed doors but I guess we rather go the "they are just fishing for clicks"-route. |
I call him untrustworthy. I guess people have to wait everytime for a second article of him, to see if his assertions are thruthful.

Who would've thought that one's impression of something can change when you see more of it.
I mean, I don't put much weight into one preview, but it's not completely improbable that he would change his mind (in his case, for the worse) after another preview...

Now Xbox will have its own, when will Nintendo?

Rough being a writer on the internet. It's kind of like how people call politicians who change their views over time flip floppers when personally I would prefer a leader who is open minded to changing their ideas based on newly presented evidence. Saying you can't trust someone because their initial view of something from a prescripted demo versus a more indepth view later seems just as ridiculous. How far back does that go? Does the same person need to keep the same opinion about a game since its announcement in order for them to be trustworthy?
