Otherland is awesome, anyone with interest in openworld games and VR should read it. It's long (4 volumes) like most of those up there though.

And the last book is literally start to finish, climax. Never really read a book where every page is literally every single thing being explained/fixed etc... absolutely insane series. Really really enjoyed it.
