Your post shows your ignorance on why 3rd party Wii U support is so poor. Its not lack of resouces from publishers, its lack of interest from the Wii U audience.

I don't think this game will work without the Gamepad... It was what saved this game from mediocrity imo.

Well to be fair, the audience hasnt gotten many chances to buy great third party games...

No hate, I just accept what Wii U is. Its the machine for those who want Nintendo games and maybe a few gems here and there. Its not the place people should go for lots of 3rd party games. 3rd parties got behind Wii U, it had some of the biggest IPs, but it was mostly an abysmal failure. Excuses aside, thats what happened.
Vita did a better job pushing core western titles and that support died as well. I bought a Vita with NO anticipation of great support coming. I just wanted to dabble in what Vita does offer.

There would be a lack of interest in 3rd party games on PS and Xbox also, if they were only given ports like ZombiU for 2 decades straight...

It got the same games that were popular on Playstation and Xbox. But the Wii U audience ignored them and bought Nintendo and casual games. If CoD was hitting those Just Dance numbers maybe they would have kept putting it on Wii U.
