As i thought, no NX version in dev, its just a possibility based on how NX will well

Good thing for PS4, it will be a huge exclusive système seller before any other version comes

I should have made a bet! So many people doubted it when I said 3DS might be up for development. I mean, handheld gaming is where its at in Japan. Not to put it on 3DS would be losing out on a great hit. I'm so glad it is finally happening. Hope the west gets it! Now, we've missed and will miss unless something happens:

Dragon Quest Monsters 1, Dragon Quest Monsters 2 (3DS), Dragon Quest VII (3DS) Dragon Quest VIII(3DS), Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 (3DS), Dragon Quest XI (3DS), Dragon Quest X (Wii, 3DS,NX,PS4,PC), Dragon Quest Heroes 2 (PSV,PS4), Dragon Quest Builders (PSV,PS4)...man so many Quests we're gonna miss out on. I honestly think there's a saturation of Dragon Quest games right now. They're pumping em out too quick but anyway, back on topic, I hope it comes westward. It looks amazing!!!

Another great RPG heading to PS4 and 3DS! I haven't played much DQ but this has me pretty hyped

Exclusive system seller... yeah, except for that version of the game that is gonna be released on a console with 13 times more users than Ps4 on Japan, and at the same time (if the ps4 version is not delyed, that´s it)

3Ds is so easy to hide, doesn´t it?

That version totally different from PS4 version yeah, but DQ fans will take both since they will offer a very different exclusive experience just like ninokuni, only nintendoboys will stick to 3DS version, real fans will take a PS4 version too

Most definitely the PS4 version ... 

I can't see Square mustering up the effort to do the same for the 3DS version since it is suffering from disinterest and DQ XI's release window is likely within holiday 2016 which will further diminish it's momentum when a localized release won't be coming until the first half of 2017 ... 

The release window is currently 30th Anniversary of Dragon Quest, which is basically Spring 2016. Will they be done by then? Probably not. I'm sure they'll be trying though. Although a delay to late 2016 is possible, I'll remain ever so slightly hopeful.

Wow! Didn't see that you'll basically be getting 2 games in 1 for the 3DS version! Very clever, Square Enix, Nintendo clever might I say. But really, that's one of the best ideas I've seen in gaming, no kidding.

Not exactly a favorable comparison, all things considered.

It looks more like a second team was chosen to develop a PS4 version as that version is well behind the 3DS version indicating 3DS may have always been the intended platform. People were adamant it's only going to be one platform but those who said 3DS said if it comes to console it would be multiplatform due how Japan is with consoles.

So that's why they've said DQ11 was going to be for a home console before the announcement. It was thrown together after the 3DS version.
