You hope SE is canceling the version that is the most far along and will make them the most money?
They're developed completely separate from each other. There's no reason to be upset about that.
SE said that they are considering an NX release, it isn't confirmed yet.
I'm actually laughing at the people begging SE to drop the 3DS version. There is no reason for them to do it. They certainly won't do it to please a few people on a sales forum.
So is Level 5 involved in development at all? If not, I'd be quite disappointed.

Ah well you'll be one of the few to buy an NX for this then :P |
Is not the reason, is one more reason, I still have to see enough reasons to buy it, but this is a good start for the console, and "one of the few" just no, I think a lot of people not interested on ps4 is gonna buy the console for this game in Japan, and people more interested on Nintendo games don´t need to buy a Ps4 for it now, just wait for the NX.

There is nothing unique in PS3 version of Ni no Kumi...
Can you prove the game could be the same without the 3DS version? I guess not... that is my point... you will never know what the game could be focusing in only new hardware.
But that is my opinion about all games not just Dragon Quest... I guess every old-gen version needs to be dropped... I love Ground Zeroes but I think it could be a way better game without PS360 versions.
RIP cross gen development (I understand it is cheaper for the companies but I don't support this way to work).

They are in a sales forum and can't understand bussiness apparently...

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Also, is anybody getting the a KH3 vibe from the PS4 version? The design of the world looks very KH3-like. That might be due to UE4 though.
| ethomaz said: Yes... XI for 3DS and XII for PS4/NX is a good ideia. And people are getting the whole thing wrong... it is not 2 different games... it is the same game using different game engine. Design/Projet team is the SAME for PS4/3DS/NX Game engine (GFX) is assisted by Orca on PS4/NX |
Actually it doesn't make it the same game, what DQXI is it's the same concept with two different types of execution. 3DS is more classical and homage like to older games while taking ques from DQIX and other portable rpgs like BD and Pokemon in approach, the PS4 version is more following the path of DQVIII which played in a remarkably unique way compared to the rest of the franchise.
The games may have the same design team but they're not the members handing the hardware as the are two different teams, to give you an example it would be like a game directed by a few people and one version handled by Naughty Dog the other handled by Insomniac.
