 No no, this is spread out over the entire future month (I have shipment data 4 weeks in advance). What I'm saying is that my supply is increasing 400 percent over the next 4 weeks, on average. If it were just a Mario thing, it'd be all this week. It's not. I got 39 this week.

Wow. Receive 40 Wii's, sell them 1hr BEFORE opening. That's insane.

If anyone doubted that the Wii would not sell out this Xmas - try again.

If that increase is across the board (and it may well be), could be looking at 400k/500k PER WEEK for the next month. Ouch. They only need to sustain that, and sell 4m Wii's in the US - between now & new year.

They may well be on track for the 20m units by start '08.

target got about 60 wiis in today, that's almost 2.5x what the normal shipment is for that target. I'm in a pretty small town, they open at 9 and it sold out by about 2:00. I know because i went there with my friend at about 2:00 and there was about 2 left.

One reason they lasted so long is because they dont announce when they will sell them, you have to have insider info to know that. Obviously the people at toysrus knew about it.

btw i preordered mario galaxy at toysrus today and will pick up the game and $25 gift certificate tomorrow.

For those curious, this increase isn't evenly distributed. It's an overall increase, but don't expect to see precisely 80 Wiis a week (which is what it would take to see the inrease I'm talking about).

Let's just say the whole electronics department staff flipped a lid when we saw how many Wiis we were getting for Black Friday.

Yes, we will definitely still sell these all out, absolutely no question. The question might be how fast we'll sell out. For example, if we get shipments once a week (it may be twice a week -- we'll see), we will definitely sell a full shipment out in a week's time, which is technically still selling out.

As for selling out instant-freaking-taneously, that's more difficult to say. We'll see, I guess.

And remember guys, PS3 and 360 sales and interest are piqued now, too, so watch out for those too. I happen to know of a killer 360 deal coming up (that may be public knowledge now, I'm not sure), and the PS3 deal coming up is quite nice, too. 

Hey, when will Super Mario Galaxy be available? 12:00 midnight, on November 12th, 2007? Will it be available the second it's tommorow, or a few hours after, or what? I want to be the first to get it!
