Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo- Zelda Wii U to release when ready, no talk of Metroid on Wii U

It better be on GTA, but Zelda style, level for taking so long!
Compared to other Zeldas, how long is this taking?

completely new zeldas come out approx every 5 years.  If we would have gotten it xmas, it could have been perceived as a year early.  Each new entry normally uses a completely new engine.  Some gaps in time have actually been up to 8 years.  A huge exception to this was zelda II link's adventure.  I  believe that came the year after the original zelda, but it was then 4 years till a link to the past, then about 7 years until ocarina of time.  Now obviously there are a slew of zelda games on hand helds that release in between, but i'm not inclined to count those as i don't feel it pertains to your particular question.

Wasn't expecting a new Metroid anytime soon, anyways.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

"Let's be happy with what we have."

That's really something you want to hear from your game companies.

-we ask for an HD metroid on the Wii U
-we get a 3D spinoff

-We ask for Animal Crossing on wii u
-We get another 3DS version and a very expensive board game

-we ask for Super Mario Galaxy 3
-they decide f*** it and just have us make the mario levels now

-we ask for another Pokemon Colosseum game
-we get an arcade fighting game

-we want amiibo to be in stock so we can buy them
-lol nope

I have stopped questioning Nintendo. More times than not, they deliver and make everyone look stupid. So, whatever they do, I'm down.

I can't wait 'till this generation is over for Nintendo. If you people think this article at all hints toward Zelda being cross-generation, thank goodness for that.

You'll buy the moment they show the awesome magical never seen before Mario 3D Adventure launching alongside the console.

You mean a real 3D Mario and not the trash WiiU calls 3D Mario?? Maybe

3D world is faaaaaaaaaaaaar from being a trah and is an unquestionable 3D Mario.

I still not get why people thinks that is not 3D just because the levels are lineal...

In fairness I never played it because its 3DS prequel was garbage. So maybe they fixed my problems with the WiiU game but going off of what trailers showed me it looked like the same meh platformer that the 3DS game was.

The reception of Mario fans once they played the game was really good (the game has a 9 of userscore on Meta with more than 1200 votes), the trailers were very dissapointing at first because it wasn´t the kind of Mario that we expected, but once you play it you realize is just amazing, an incredible mix between mario 3d and mario 2d goodness, I think is better than Sunshine to be honest, and I liked Sunshine but this is more fun.
