Forums - Nintendo - SplatoonJP tweets Octoling without goggles... playable Octolings?

I am not interested unless they have differing abilities, which would be weird. If the play like Inklings, what is the point?

It would be fun though if the "Bad Guys" are always shown as octolings - so each team would be shown as octolings to the other team.

Pretty neat, not sure if I would prefer to play as an Octoling though :p

That's racist. :P

Hmm, personally if I were part of the development team, i would save playable Octolings for the eventual sequel. The game is popular enough that even as DLC, you'd get more impact among the fan base if it was done in the sequel IMO.

I would save playable octolings for a sequel, too. But they could introduce them as bots in this game

The point is that games are more fun if you wear a new hat

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
