The problem with Superman, and any comic character in this type of competition, is that they're written so inconsistently. One moment superman is hurling planets around, the next he's getting punched by Superman. In one comic Wolverine needs several days to heal from a deep wound, the next he's able to regenerate from complete incineration in seconds. Even a character as weak as hawkeye has incarnations that vary in strength and ability.

So, it's kind of a weird question to ask. If we take the strongest possible version of Superman, Goku doesn't stand a chance. But, there are several interpretations of Superman that Goku could wreck without breaking a sweat. Kind of a crapshoot.

^^This! You sir are correct I hate it when wolverine regenerated from just a finger in one comic. These added powers are bullshit  superman issue 9757 will give him the ability to talk to fish and people will just except it! At least goku was meant to be limitless with training and healing from the beginning.

But Superman is ever mutating from the yellow sun. Therefore his new abilities can also be written off as being perfectly logical.

And he still gets killed. Frequently might I add.

Anyone who says Goku should win has never read or looked into Superman comics.

That said, Goku is a far more interesting of a character in my honest opinion.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Basically this.  It's like writers have a particular vision for a character and that character is passed to different writers until one "super fan" writer changes the character so drastically that they are just a caricature of the person the original writer created.

Not to mention Superman has inherited all the knowledge of Krypton (and Superman Prime has some of the knowledge of The Source). Not only completely uneven if we talk about strength, but intelligence as well. A fight would be ridiculously one sided.

Meh... the only thing i'm sure is wrong is when they said Superman was faster which is impossible since instant transmission is instant.

Instant Transmission needs intense concentration, and is usually impossible to use in combat.
