there was a 360 premium and elite shortage for about a week and a half at the end of january

and there has been a ps3 80gb shortage since the end of the first week of febuary that continues to this very day.

I think there was indeed a shortage... the reason of it ... i really don't have a clue, since USA is their biggest market ... but from what i've read the supply should be ok by now

I will continue to buy their product as long as they continue to provide me with a very solid lineup of games to play.

MS stated shortages for the months of January and February... now look at your calendar.. if you can't read it, then ask a family member, I'm sure they'll be happy to tell you what month this is.

For all of January and part of February, many regions of the USA were out of stock for the 360 units (except the arcade and Halo editions apparently). Not a "completely sold out" like the Wii, but low stock overall none-the-less. This was report in several threads on several boards from different people (the best source was the traditional retail musings threads at neogaf).

I guess 1.7mil 360's sitting at retail by the end of December is a shortage, thats news to me.
