What would you like to see in the next God of War?

I would like the game to be more opened, maybe open world, perhaps with RPG elements.

How about you?

Definitely a god. And maybe some war.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

What about of? :(

Ah, really, I don't care, as long as it's something different. Kratos wakes up in present times and has to do something about Greece's economy, maybe. Maybe he's retired to a cottage in the country-side but then Loki kidnaps his cat. Maybe he decides he wants to be the Pirate King.

Perhaps Kratos goes missing and his maid, the attractive yet spunky Sakura-chan, has to bring him back from the abyss so that she can get her paycheck and keep from being evicted from her apartment, where she lives with her sickly little brother. She takes up her master's weapons and uses them against gods, demons, collection agents, and civil servants. She also receives guidance from Kratos's cat (see above).

If it GoW4 is announced to be open world I'd sell every game and console I own and abandon this hobby of mine, would be fucking dreadful.

I have a simple list.

- Keep Kratos.
- Bring back sub-weapons.
- Revert to old rage meter & introduce a mechanic like Thera's bane (Ghost of Sparta).
- Introduce new pantheon (Egyptian Gods).
- Make the levels more open/explorable.
- Bring back the old composers.
- 1080p with an unlocked fps to look as gorgeous as possible.
- 12-15 hour campaign, NO FILLER.
- Bring back mulitplayer and expand on local & online co-op.
- Keep QTEs and introduce more prompt-less ones.
- Increase the scale of both bosses & environments.
- More varied environments.
- Less climbing (Ascension thought it was Uncharted).
- Less but more creative puzzles (Ascension was overkill)

EDIT:

- AND KEEP THE AUTOMATED DYNAMIC CAMERA!

And well, fingers crossed. I have faith in Cory Barlog but I'm not going to hype a game ever again after constant disappointment in recent years.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I'd like for there to be no Kratos.

What a horrible idea.

No, it isn't.
