My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

It is a great game because every aspect of it is great, including its story. A game doesn't have to spoonfeed the player a bunch of cinematics to tell a great story. Wind Waker keeps its plot short, sweet, and to the point while still managing to develop interesting characters and touch on powerful themes. There's a great story just beneath the surface of that ocean.

That has good story telling in it.

I wonder why it took someone so long to mention it in this thread, esp considering how few Wii U games are actually like that.

Don't know what you are confused about. Some people had no opinion on the story, and some people might've thought it was okay (neither good nor bad), hence other. The majority thought the branching storyline was good, though.

That graph is the only time I've heard Xeno X's story referred to as a "branching" one. Does it truly branch, or is that a mistake or mistranslation? Is the fact that it branches (or the way in which it does so) considered a spoiler? There are the different Unions, but I don't recall any of the promotional materials ever stating that they lead to a branching storyline. Just different perks.
