Forums - Gaming - Gearbox CEO invested 10 mil of his own money in Colonial Marines.

well that was a really stupid thing to do.

I'd chalk that up to bad investment Randy.

Please if he invested 10million he would not have outsourced the game to some hackjob studio.

They would have developed it themselves like SEGA paid them to lol.

Randy is a liar.

Well I bought the Collectors Edition of it new in gamestop last year, was really happy to give that €2 back for such a fantastic game. Really was worth it for the laughs.

If he really invested 10million on that I'm guessing he also pays like... 4-5k for cups of tea, bad with money!

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

How the hell does he have enough money to be able to invest 10 mil in the first place?
Gamedevelopement must pay ways better than I thought.

He should sue himself for the poor investiment decision and money management.

10M? Sure...

what he wants to say is, that he got $20m from Sega and used $10m of that (which at that point he considered to be his own money) to make sth that technically doesn't break the conditions of the contract

Well, that was silly.

Hmm, pie.
