Forums - Sony - Uncharted 4 will NOT have pre-rendered cut-scenes.

Uncharted 4's cut-scenes will all be done in real time, so every Drake we've seen in the cut-scenes is actually the in-game model Drake (albiet with slightly better lighting)

This is pretty awesome and is a first for Naughty Dog, excitement is real!

LOL Why? They need to go. It is way better to have everything in engoine instead of te jarring cut to a pre-rendered scene.

Just preference, but I don't know why you wouldn't like having better looking scenes and more realistic movement.

Because pre-rendered cut-scenes can take time to load breaking the immersion and player models can be incorrect, such as missing bullet holes, blood, mud etc.

This is false, I take it you have never seen a Nauight Dog game before? Game engnes now are good enough to do it all realtime. Pre-rendered = immersion killer.

Talk all you want but my opinion wont change. I'm also not talking only about Naughty Dog games, but games in general

Personally, I have to disagree with you as well, because I think gaming hardware has finally reached that point where the realtime gameplay graphics look so damn good that a cutscene made from them look amazing as well. Say what you will about The Order's shortcomings, but the game still looked amazing, both in and out of cutscenes. Now we've got one of the best devs in the industry doing it, so it's bound to please.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

I was guessing so. Naughty dog has said they were done with that.

because they break the inmersion.  The graphics are different so you are like "oh it looks great, but the gameply does not look that good".  For me it is what happens.
