I don't understand why people are so shocked with wonders about sales. When Michael Jackson died we can say it was the best thing in his career in decades( being practical and whitout moralism), ok, he died, he left three children, and its not good and I'm not saying otherwise, but from a pure business perspective it was the best thing for the music industry in years , this why there are so many conspiracy theories around his death.

Iwata death is not good, OK, but he's already dead and nobody can do nothing for him, crying or saying pretty things won't. Now people have to get practical and find a way to make it somehow less harmful for the company, isn't psicology all about his? Making good things from bad things, and seeing the facts from the best perspective possible ?

I am not going to shut down topics like this, but I would ask everyone to keep in mind that in the immediate aftermath of someone passing we need to ensure all our comments are respectful to those who will be mourning.

I don't think they will see more sells. When it comes to videogames and the general public there is some detachment between the people behind games, the ones that make them possible, and the videogame brands themselves, at least compared to film and music and art.

If Nintendo consoles name is "Satoru Iwata " then probably it will sells like crazy, because Iwata works and his passions is in another name, so i guess nobody will notice the great guy behind Nintendo Wii U.
