His gentle smile and kindness are what I will remember

And of course plus Nintendo Direct, it was so much fun when we had him there ...

The Reggie vs Iwata fight for sure.

Nintendo Directs

Also the fact that he was a fun-loving and humble man despite being a president of a multi-billion yen company. He put his others before himself, like when he took a 50% pay cut instead of layoffs and firing employees. I also learned he was quite the game programmer who could do things by himself that a team couldn't accoplish. No one who watched e3 2014 should ever forget his epic fight.

Hearing him speak his poor English in all the directs always brought a smile to my face

I think E3 2013 was a really awesome time for me. It was around the time where I was starting to follow gaming news and I was on a vacation watching the video and getting super hype about fairy type coming to Pokemon X and Y 😄 Good times!

His work on Earthbound for me by far. Still an underappreciated gem that not many gamers of today know about.

In Spanish and French too.

The bananas from the E3 2012, and the moment he first held up the 3DS at E3 2010.

His super-powered fight with Reggie. Definitely one of my favourites.
