Kids love consoles in general :D
My nephews usually just play FIFA or PES, but I let them try out Brawl a while back, now they're obessed with it

The real question is, which one do they prefer?

It's up in the air. They have skylanders on PS4 and Mario Party and Smash Bros. It comes down to whatever system has the hdmi cable in it.

My kids don't know much about the Console Wars. Only that we won't have an Xbox in the house. :) lol

As a nintendo fan, dont teach them console wars please xD its good to stay innocent

If I did have kids, they'd probably prefer a PS4 since it's the hottest console out of all of them.

They'd probably be let down, but I'd also showm them how great Nintendo exclusives are, like Super Smash Bros, and Splatoon.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

If I had a kid he would start with Super Mario Bros. on NES and work his way up so he would be glad to play more Nintendo.

Sorry double posted the same comment.

Oh and when I have kids I am never, ever letting them go on the VGC forums

*Kid looks over my shoulder
"Daddy what does NSFW mean? Is that like when you and mommy wrestle?"
"Errr... tell you what Billy I think your mother has some popsicles in the kitchen."
"OH BOY POPSICLES!"

I DON'T WANT MY KID TO BECOME SOME LOLI-LOVING PONY LIKE I AM

Sadly, I don't have any kids myself, but my neighbour's daughter and son, while initially annoyed ("what, you don't even own a playstation?"), just couldn't stop playing on my Wii U after they started. 2 month later they bought a Wii U, too, after their children where constantly pestering them about the console or coming over to my place to play. Apparently, the mother is the only eho still uses their PS4 on a regular basis (her husband ain't very much into videogames).

Bottom line, I'm sure my children would love the Wii U after they where giving it a chance.

you, i like you :)

Both my brothers fight over my Wii U. They practically alternate weekends so their kids can play my Wii U. I brought them all together and the fight both kids had over it was vicious. I fear for my gamepad's safety now.

OT if I had kids I would start them on NES games like SMB and SMB 2 and work up from there. Even if it meant buying a 2DS instead. I would instill the old school on them like it was gospel.

My son would immediately file for emancipation if I gave him a Wii U
