"I don't like them, so they're completely stupid and pointless" - People who complain about shit they actually have to click on to watch.

There are also people who post in threads to complain about people who complain about videos.

And people who quote and complain about people who post in threads to complain about people who complain about videos.

And... yeah.

And if they were even remotely similar situations, you'd have a point.  I didn't make a thread complaining about something I actually have to choose to watch.  I commented on what I like about them (originally), in a thread complaining about something someone else actually has to choose to watch.

So, yeah, congratz on a silly comment.

You're basically pulling the "you're not an artist yourself so how dare you criticize my work?!"-card. It's stupid.

It's okay to complain or praise anything and everything, without any particular reason.

lol, yeah that'd be an appropriate analogy if you were saying that all art is garbage.  Which you are not.  Poor comparison.

It's perfectly fine to complain or praise anything and everything, just as it's perfectly fine for me to point out how stupid it is to complain about something you don't like, that millions of people do, that you literally have to set aside time to participate in, and consciously click on, to observe.

Not all art, just like its not all videos. Only these specific ones. You didn't stop at calling it stupid, you said it was pointless to even comment on it.

W/e man, you're just being a douche and I'm just walking away.

They are so lame, really, they do that for everything, not only video games.

They are so fake since they know what they are watching, there is no real surprise, but they play surprise, brainless.

The only legitimate videos like that are people who were at theaters and filmed themselves there, authentic reaction

As horrendous as the link is, I recommend trying to get through it all, and not losing your faith in humanity in the meantime.

Dude, why'd you post that? lol. That was pathetic. Some people have serious issues.

I agree with the OP though. These videos are retarded.

... it was a joke

Reaction videos seemed too hammed up to me. Some of them don't even seem genuine.

People defend why they like these types of videos. Personally I think the videos are stupid.

EDIT - I'm specifically talking about the videos of people recording themselves (individuals or panels) reacting to game/movie trailers. NOT of people who have others watch and react to something they've never seen before. For example, I enjoy elders react by finebros.

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

I enjoy watching reaction montages for scary games but that's about it. Really though a lot of YouTubers are making money for some stupid shit, and a lot of people are watching them; especially younger kids who have much better things to do.
Go fucking play warrior with sticks or play with your dolls or something you 12 year old Billy-shits. Stop watching strangers playing Minecraft with sexual innuendos and people overreacting to Twilight trailers.
Oh wait the dolls force beauty standards on our poor children and the sticks are shaped like guns!
FUCK MY LIFE *implodes*
