That's a "slight" exaggeration in your paraphrasing.
He says people like that shouldn't be able to get away with it that easily, and says he'll do what he can to make sure the finnish hacker will get his deserved punishment. Given that he is (one of them at least) the victim of some of his crimes, I'd say that's pretty fair and square.
Now yes, had he said anything remotely close to what you paraphrased, yes, that would be challenging them.
When a crime is being committed against someone, I would not be surprised for them to raise some sort of outcry.
Wow, I had no idea those people ruined the guy's life. At first I thought his tweets and reaction to the Finnish guy's sentence was unprofessional, but I'm starting to agree with him and understand why he's so angry.

even if they weren't attacking him how would it have been unprofessional? he works in the gaming industry and this group has harassed and ruined a lot of moments for gamers and publishers alike
