I don't think it would honor Kojima to intentionally and spitefully sabotage the game he is obviously pouring his heart into, especially as it's his swan song, just because of external controversy.

If there was ever a time for Sony to open a new studio in Japan, now is the time. The Japanese console market seems to be taken a hit so Sony can use any Japanese game, Sony is nice in the lead and making a nice profit on PlayStation and one of the best Japanese devs is available. Just give the guy and his employees a big bag of money and let them develop a P.T. style game or whatever they wanna make.

Hopefully Kojima and his team get picked up by Sony or some other publisher.

what a sad day, i hope the best for them... all of them, and i wish they could get toghether under another company and keep making games and go on to make even better ones.
