So just like last year then.

Actually, they had a nice section there. It was the only way I could play FFT0 HD. It was way too crowded at the sony one. Also played Sunset Overdrive too.

Yes, they've tried quite hard in the past.  They've bought plenty of Japanese exclusives over the years.  Bill Gates was the keynote speaker for the very first Xbox TGS appearance.

Did he speak Japanese?

No, it was translated as he spoke.  They also showed clips of NFL Fever 2002, which is hilarious.  Some people say he offended the Japanese by turning the keynote into an extended Xbox presentation, which in turn resulted in a negative first impression.  Kind of a theme for the Xbox brand, it seems.

I read some one posted this on gaming news site, shamelessly borrow it "http://kotaku.com/japan-the-xbox-one-isnt-giving-up-on-you-just-yet-1715360820, Yeah they are not giving up, but i believe it's just a PR crap to save some face on their horrible sales.

Lol, Bill Gates look likes half Japanese there in the picture, i didn't know people have invented adobe photoshop back then

There goes my hope for a JRPG.

Hopefully Microsoft does announce something for the Japanese audience at some point. Not going to the Tokyo Game Show isn't doing them any favors in that region.

Wait people actually still care about TGS... Haven't paid attention to it in years... Nothing new or original ever comes from that market anymore anyway.. Japanese gaming is the shadow of itself and it sucks but it hasn't moved me significantly in quite some time beside the very occasional bleep on the radar

That was before the event start.

There were ~20-30 people there, yeah very few as expected, but not zero.
