That's like getting a Kinect bundled with an Xbone. Extra plastic that nobody wants or will use.

Except the kinect added $100 to the price, meanwhile the PS TV doesn't add anything to the cost of the PS4 . Though if the bundle only comes with a PS TV ( and No PS TV games ) it's even more worthless than the kinect ( without spending extra ).

Kinect added nothing to the price. Kinect has no mind of its own. It was M$ that set the price. It's also not Kinect that is spying on us, it is M$. Kinect is innocent of being blamed for such crimes.

Well that's one solution for Ps classic backwards compatibility among other things.

Yes and it also allows you to play PS Vita games. Witch means all the free Vita games you get with PS Plus aswell.

First part false... PSTV can't even play Netflix.

Neither can the PS4 or XB1.... in Europe

(partially true)

You should have vita games if you have PS+

This is actually the big thing about this bundle.

If you have PS Plus.. your getting more free games to play this way.

Not sure why people are makeing fun of the ps tv, its a fantastic thing to bundle with the ps4.

Those bundles are the perfect example why PS Vita is undertracked on this site and that PS Vita has already reached 13M sold!

It is a good bundle and if I was to get a PS4 I'd get this because there a few Vita games I'm interested in. However it is little bit sad that the only way Sony can 'sell' Vitas is by giving them away with a ps4. Good for consumers though I guess.

Btw is PS TV really a Vita? I always thought it was like the GameBoy player that GameCube had back in the day (or a super game boy for the SNES)

Hey, if you won't ever use the thing you can always give it to me, I'd certainly use it XD

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I watch Netflix on my PS4 all the time here in France ;)

(yep, I've seen the "partially true" part, I don't know how it works in other countries)

Or if you buy games digitally from psn store you'd find a lot of them have cross buy with the psvita so you'll have access to those games too. Only issue is ofc the pstv comes with just 1gb of internal storage so you wont be doing too much downloading of that... sadly not even large enough to download FF7 off the store out of the box.

Great bundle idea tho, would be better with an actual vita of course but the PSTV happily sits under my TV as a great addition, was using it last night actually as a part of playing 4 player Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, using 2xVitas, a PSTV and a PSPgo with the person on the PSTV being the leader of our horrible failed adventures :D was still pretty awesome way to multiplayer game.

Yes it is a Vita, and is called Vita TV in Japan, but not without some drawbacks. Namely no front/back touchscreen for games that don't function without it. It still takes the same game cartridges and memory cards. Also while this might be true for the standard Vita, it doesn't have Netflix and Youtube dropped its app support. Which blows my mind. DId the Vita lose Netflix too? Anyway, the browser is still an option. PS TV is good for playing PS1 and Vita games, or PS3 through PS NOW, with a PS3 or PS4 controller, then there i also the remote play from PS4 so you can have a PS TV set up at another TV than your PS4 and still be able to play with multiple controllers too. It even displays on both screens when done.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
