3rd party game developers.

I mean if I was a 3rd party developer....... I wouldnt want to try my luck against Mario/pokemon/zelda on a nintendo system.

...but it doesn't get "so much" 3rd party support. It gets niche japanese games and indies.

Which is exactly why it has such low hardware sales.

This is a GREAT problem to have as a handheld gamer! No complaints here. Especially if Sony doesn't make another handheld, we can keep whittling down our Vita backlogs for years to come.

Although my Vita backlog is already too big.



It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

Resident Evil Revelations 2, Digimon Cyber Sleuth, World of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest Heroes 2, Dragon Quest Builders etc... 
Upcoming PS Vita games are very very good imo.

...Those are niche Japanese games, dude. Dragon Quest Builders? World of Final Fantasty? Those are what constitute as "so much" 3rd party support? Come on, man. He wasn't asking why Vita owners like the Vita, he was asking why the Vita has such low hardware sales. It's blatantly obvious why. It's library of past and upcoming games appeal to like 1% of the gaming audience.
