That's why Elder Scrolls and Fallout are so popular. Right now, bigger is better no matter what. I think people using playtime when talking about the game supports that.

It didn't sound like you were dissing Xenoblade, it sounded like you were dissing its fans. But if that was not the case then it was a simple misunderstanding.
The relationship between a game's value and its content volume has been the focus of a weird... almost controversy, lately. I'd rather take games as they are and skirt around the edges of the whole debate. Too little content for my tastes, I won't buy it, but I won't condemn those who do. Too much, I'll play whatever suits me, but I won't argue against justified criticisms.
