Yeah the fact that they mad LBPK made no sense to me, Modnation was a solid kart racer, we could have just continued building that franchise. Anyway my hopes for a PS4 kart racer lie on Sonic All-Stars Racing 3... C'mon Sega I haven't completely given up on you yet.

Does PS have enough recognizable child friendly characters for that type of game?

At E3 2017 after being successful with the same tactic for R&C and Sly Cooper Sony will announce a collaboration with Activision to bring a Crash movie to cinemas and 2 new Crash games to PS4, one will be a classical platformer, the other a Crash Team Racing game.

The week after that pigs will learn to fly.

I hope Sony gets a decent kart racer. I suck at Gran Turismo.

Sony sucks at kart racers since PS3 IMHO, modnation was fun, but is's loading times where way to long the track editor was nice though. LBP Karting was not good at all, Sonic all starts racing transformed 3 might see the dawn of light on PS4. I expect it to be a better kart racer than Sony probably could produce. And I hope ND doesn't make a kart game ever again they are way better at action adventure games.

i doubt they could do something that could compete to mario kart 8 so i wont buy it anyway.

i'd like a new modnation game personally

the racing and combat were great and imo more in depth than mario kart, but i also enjoyed creating my own karts, characters and tracks

with the increased power in the ps4, load times shouldn't be so bad

I didn't like LBP Karting, but ModNation Racers:Road Trip for the Vita was a very good game - I played the demo of the PS3 ModNation game aswell, but damn those loading times were ridiculous.

Crash would be awsome, also would love to see a new IP with cute character design. Completely hated the art direction of Modnation racers so I hope it stays buried.

Unfortuantely Media Molecule or Japan Studios are the only teams I would trust topull of cool, quirky and cute all at the same time.

Should just wait for the next Sonic and Sega Allstars game. It's the closest kart racer out there to being as good as the Mario Kart series.
