I don't recall ever not letting it down, but I do recall others doing so. I CERTAINLY don't recall Sony fanboys sitting back and taking it. The difference is Legend and I are opening up a discussion about the issue, wheras Sony fanboys went nuts and started name-calling and swearing.

Holy Crap, PS3 is on fire in Europe. No stopping that shit. 1 Million in first week guaranteed then in first week, unless of course this is aload of bullshit, but the Gran Turismo franchise is 50 million so i wouldn't doubt it at all.

Not really surprised, there are'nt many games that have the appeal of GT. It does well in all territories too. Apparently the online is basic, no voice chat or friend invites etc. But 17 quid is a bargain. So glad i invested in 1080p, the difference is really worth the extra cash.

It is in fact retail orders, since its pre orders from SCEE in that region, and that region alone.

Also, I do believe the game will a manage to break 1M in Europe Life time sales. Im sure getting the game, then GTA 4.

I've never bought a GT game before and am planning to buy this game, i mean £18 is a bargain no matter how you look at it!

Since the PS3 install base in the EU is around 3.5 million it is quite probable that this figure of 1 million pre-orderes is accurate! :D

Despite meaning retail pre-orders, that's a very impressive number. Retail support like that should ensure very solid sales for the prologue in retail. Of course downloads will help quite a bit too. ^_^
