I wont matter, as long as its cheap... and sells alot... then the magic happends.... games for everyone.

Also with nintendo only haveing to develope 1 game, and haveing it avalible on both systems.... software sales are going to be fine, and theres going to be more games than there ever was on the Wii U.

This also might mean, the quality standard for the handheld  games goes up abit (my guess).

A weak hardware is not necessarily a bad thing and a unified hardware, for sure is a good thing, but I don't think it could be enough.

I am quitely optimistic, but you shouldn't get your hopes up too much.

It will "leak" or Nintendo will provide some insight at the start of the year, believe me. We already knew 3DS would have 3D screens before its reveal. We also knew that Wii U would have a screen on its controller before E3, etc.

I see it more like: People will be talking about the new console(s). While all raging that Wii U was abandoned. And majority will not buy NX due to this. And people not trusting Nintendo. Rinse and repeat.

I think nintendo realise what went wrong with the Wii U, and noticed what playstation did right.
This new console is going to be a homerun, they wont do some cheap(or worse expensive) gimmick.

The unified game platforms, where games run on both handheld & console, is going to mean alot more games for your home console, and also means on your handheld you ll get higher quality titles.

I have a hard time imagineing Nintendo find a way to mess this up.

Yes, I think they will keep everything under wraps. We will get an unveiling in 2016, and a full scale reveal and showcase like past consoles at E3 2017. I would believe the rumors if they were closer to reveal time. Everybody believes it will be a fusion console, but there isn't any real concrete proof, and the reveal is still several months away.

I think the secret's been out since January of 2014. We obviously know more now, but I definitely don't think the NX will surprise anyone who follows gaming, aside from a few small things.

it sure will matter,atleast for Home console,poor hardware and graphics will not be tolerated in any way possible

even in Handhelds,with mobile graphics on iPhone and Android on PS3-360 levels and by 2020 close to PS4-XBONE levels,nice hardware and graphics are a must

And developeing 1 game for Home Console and Handheld doesn't work as SONY tried to do that with PS4-VITA and is already possible on iPhone-iPad-Apple TV and also Android Phone-Tablet-TV

As game utility and playability differs big time on Home Console and Hanheld,Big games being played on Mobile and small games being played on TV doesn't really make sense
