Forums - Gaming - PROOF that IGN cares more about graphics than anything else.

What's the most important part of a game? The graphics according to IGN. We have to look no further than the reviews themselves: Soulcalibur despite only getting a 10/10 in the graphics subcategory, received a perfect 10/10:

However, two other games, Jade Empire and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, received a 10/10 in every category but graphics, and accordingly did not receive perfect scores:

So, keep in mind next time you see an IGN review that the score is most likely influenced by the graphics.

I think is joke... I think.

A lot can happen in 17 years, I don't even think the same people are doing reviews as back then.

Honestly what is wrong with this: "the score is most likely influenced by the graphics"

Why wouldnt a games graphics influence the score a game got?

imo: yeah Soul Calibur probably shouldnt have been a perfect 10 either.

1999, 2005 and 2006....alrighty then.

I only believe gamespot and classic game room hd.

All I know is that Soul Calibur deserved a 10!

You are using three reviews with 7 years inbetween, the most recent review being 9 years old, to prove a point that would've been just as invalid back then (it may have been different reviewers for each of those games, people do know that IGN isn't run by one person right?) as it is now, and those reviewers probably don't even work for IGN anymore, and people change in 17 years.

Honestly wut?

Years between reviews, with most likely different reviewers each time. Is this a joke?
