Oh boy... how do you come up with this nonsense?

Did you consider Sony legally can't give us access to all of our digital content for use on PS Now? Atleast not without permission.

Also, PS Plus probably wouldn't cover the bandwidth cost of PS Now. Sony paid hundreds of millions for Gaikai, they don't want people playing free. Instead you would have to pay another fee to play your games on PS Now.

Read my post again buddy... in fact, read my reply to the OP. I said the exact same thing you did in regards to PS+ not covering the costs.

$2.5-4.16 does not cover the server costs. However, $15-20 would.

Right, so we agree it would have to be a seperate fee.

Bottom line, if PS Now could give us access to our digital content than Sony should get on that even if its for a fee.

If Sony wanted PS Now on PC, it could probably have over night.

Ultimately, something needs to change with PS Now because it won't be successful at this rate.

I think Sony is doing the right thing personally.  Take their time, dipping their toes in the water, while expanding the library.

As of yesterday, I believe their library is now approximately 372 games, with 127 included in the sub. They are expanding around 5 games a week on the library and 5 games a month on the sub (with usually at least 1 AAA game per month). By this time next year at the current rate they should have around over 630 games on the library and between 187-210 games on the sub. However, as the PS3 gets abandonded further -- you'll see publishers agreeing to put more of their games on the sub.

Game streaming is like digital games. For some fuqing reason people get all bent out of shape and cuss and throw tantrums at the thought of it. Sony needs to ignore this and continue to try to turn people around.

Make it happen folks!

REMEMBER TO UPVOTE!

To cover the cost for servers and such, they could make an active PS Plus membership mandatory for playing the games, just a thought :)

Did you steal that idea from me? I'm pretty sure I mentioned more or less this exact idea in one of the many Xb one has B/C but PS4 doesn't nyah nyah nyah threads that popped up post e3. I'm not on the PSblog so I can't up vote it, but I think it's a great idea. I don't agree with needing to have a PSN+ sub in order keep playing though.

I also think that in the very least if you have a PSN account linked to a PSNow account that any game you bought digitally through PSN should be available for streaming at no cost (if the game is available on PS Now of course). Which is one way to put your idea into effect, but it requires a PSN account, and some people wanting to stream games through non-PS devices may not have PSN accounts.

For how reasonable you normally are compared to most posters - you truly are being unreasonable here. Theres no fucking way Sony would lose money at the rate you are asking. NONE.

I don't get the impression they're dipping their toe in the water, it seems they hoped what they've done thus far would get more praise. If people knew it was going to be a rental service from the start, well there would have been less hype surrounding its launch.

Quantity of games is not PS Now's issue. However, it lacks many top selling games in the PS3 library. Having the games people most desire is more important than quantity.

Many people are open to the idea of streaming games. But renting games they may already own is what bends them out of shape. Also, nobody wants to rent a game for about the same price as owning a physical copy of a game.
