The only ones saying PS4 has no games are Sony fans. Could you guys please stop playing victim in these sort of threads?

Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway, so why does it matter. People buy consoles for the multiplats mostly. And multiplats happen to run best on PS4 and PS is a more powerful brand. Japanese gamers have also never shown much intrest in foreign consoles, so Sony consoles always get much more support from Japan. But those games usually aren't big system sellers.

The PS4 has 227 exclusives and 335 multiplatform games.

The xbox one has 110 exclusives.

Together, that's 337 exclusives and 335 mulitplatform games.

So about half the games are different from the ones that are multiplatform.

Yet you said, "Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway."

So how did you get the 90%?

I'm sure the numbers check out (depending on which definition of "exclusive" we're using this week) but damn, that number seems awfully high on both platforms!  Had no idea they had so many.

Insert dumb "PS4 has no gaemz" comment here

We all know it has games. Good ones is what its missing.

"The PS4 has released in more countries. The XB1 will catch up when it releases in more countries."
"It won't make a difference. The PS4 has better hardware, better games, more games and superior multiplats."
"It will! Watch and see."

*Releases in more countries ... silence for a while.*

"It's the price I tell you! That's why the PS4 is selling more. Wait until the XB1 is cheaper ... you'll see."
"It's not the price, it's the better hardware, better games, more games and superior multiplats."

*Price cut ... silence for a while*

"The PS4 has less games than the XB1. Why is it selling more?"
"Actually it has a lot more."
"No, Indies don't count."
"It has more even without Indies."
"FTP don't count."
"It has more even without FTP."
"Remasters don't count."
"It has more even without remasters."

*Silence for a while*

"But the XB1 games are rated much higher ... that's what counts."
"Actually, the PS4 games are rated higher."

*Silence for a while*

"Why is the PS4 selling better? I don't understand it. It must be hype."

LMFAO so true.

Who cares who has more games? Play what you want. Xbox One does have a better lineup this year, Sony admitted they have a thin lineup. What is the argument about really?

It's all of them except timed exclusives.

thank you.

Indies this gen have became gold, when no one gave a shit about them in the past.

Crazy thing.  I can only speak for myself but there were literally HUNDREDS of indie games and arcade games I had to own last gen (I own hundreds across the various 7th gen consoles).  Games like Limbo, Braid, Journey, Super Stardust, Geometry Wars, Shadow Complex,  Splosion Man, etc.  This gen, despite the heavy emphasis on indies, I'm much led inclined to purchase one.  For me, the excitement is no longer there--at last not like it used to be.

I wonder if it's a marketing thing, a lack of creativity, if the novelty has worn off, or if I'm just getting bored with gaming.

Well not every game you mentioned is indie. Those are some notable games that got published and/or funded by major studios. Its kinda blurry what's an indie game, especially when you have a major studio pushing it.

I also own many of the indie/indie-esque of last gen. I think we've seen so many retro inspired games that appeal is just wearing off. They have to be exceptionally great to feel like they are worth my time now. There are occasionally some gems that stand out, such as Rogue Legacy. While Shovel Knight just felt average.

I'm gonna focus on this because its relevant to the discussion.

Its not that indies don't count, some are fantastic. But most are not, practically shovelware.

So you argue X1 has a better lineup, then a sentence later ask what the argument is? Interesting

No they didn't. Show me where they said that ... I'll wait for you to Google it and then point out why you're wrong.
