All my games this year have been digital downloads.

I lost track of the number of steam games I bought. Mainly old games on special offer though. Includes Dishonoured, Farcry 3, Finial fantasy 7 & 8, a bundle which had almost all tomb raider games, thief games, and many other old games by that company. There a a fair few other game I cant remember and will probably never play... Steams good at taking my money for things I don't want :P

On Wii U I bought Yoshi's Wooly World, Kirby's Rainbow Paintbrush, Splatoon, Toad's Treasure Tracker, a couple of indie games and a number of vc console games for wii and n64. I spent the most cash on my Wii U by a large magnitude.

On 3ds I bought Zelda: Majaras Mask at launch and bought Bravely Default, Kirby Triple Deluxe and Phoenix Wright dual destiny's when they were on special offer on the eshop. I also bough gunman clive 2 though I think that was the only indie game I bought for 3ds this year.

My switch, this year, to Apple from Android lead me to buy a few game for my phone. I bought Bioshock, Scribblenauts, and I rebought Bad Piggies.

Despite spending quite a lot I feel I've cut down a great deal from last year which was probably my most expensive gaming year ever.

Alright so let's recap.  I am really trying to cut back on video game spending this year, primarily because I had spent so much last year.  This has kept me on a game backlog that seems impossible for me to clear.  So I am plenty entertained.  From now on, I will try to only buy games when I can get them on sale.  Every game I have purchased so far this year I have gotten on sale.  The only things I have paid full price for is the DLC and Pokemon Bank subscription.  I also got a $50 Nintendo eShop gift card for Christmas last year, so in a way I really have only spent $16.56 on games this year.  I am hoping to both clear my backlog and keep this figure to a minimum.  I know Steam is a money trap, so I am trying to be careful as I have just recently become a PC gamer.
