If you're from a large city then there's a bunch. I'll narrow it down to famous people from my High School.
Douglas Fairbanks
Judy Collins
Pam Grier
Don Cheadle
^ Pam Grier is from Denver?
She was so brilliant in/as "Jackie Brown". I could watch the opening sequence with her & "Across 110th Street" forever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg5flCiTznA
The least popular Tarantino movie in general, but my most favourite from him so far. Tarantino is overhyped as a director, but he knows how to give credit to the heroes of his youth like no other.

Yeah, she is! I was surprised to find that out myself. One of my teachers had Judy Collins, Pam Grier and Don Cheadle as students in his class (he was an English teacher).
"Jackie Brown" is not my favorite (Reservoir Dogs fan here) but her performance was outstanding.
I forgot one other "famous" guy. Philip Bailey from the band "Earth, Wind and Fire" also went to my high school.
^ huh, the only famous people from my school is the band wolfsbane and Harry Hibbs who was in the 1966 England squad.

I won the "High School" lottery. Astronaut Jack Swigert (Apollo 13) went to my high school also.
I googled "wolfsbane" and the lead singer was pretty famous. Harry Hibbs seems like a good one.
The Bush Family has their big ass vacation... compound... here. They really aren't anything to be proud of though. Otherwise I don't know, there are a lot of huge mansions here so I guess a bunch of rich people of some sort.
